7th Grade VB Advances to Regional Championship
Last night the 7th grade volleyball team won their first regional game by defeating Momence in 3 sets with the scores 22-25; 25-12; 25-12. Carmela Irwin placed in 5 aces and ripped out 6 attacks. Makenna Albert put in 1 ace, removed 6 attacks, hit in 6 kills, and put up 2 assists. Ahsley Lorenzatti smacked in 3 aces, 3 kills, 3 assists, and yanked out 16 attacks. Maddy Grooms tallied up 1 ace, 2 digs, 3 kills, and 1 assist. Allie Johnson added 3 kills and 1 solo block. Grace Wuest contributed 3 kills and 9 assists. Sydney Kettman had 1 assist, 2 kills, and 1 dig,
The team plays this Wednesday at 5 PM in the Regional Championship Game against Peotone.
