Depaul Christmas Tournament: 2nd Place

Key Wins and Appearances: ITW David Speer Academy and an appearance in the Depaul Christmas Tournament Championship

Key Returners: Eily Quinn, Karli Spaid, and Anastasia Lamperis

Key Newcomers: Maria Katsigridakis, Molly Joseph, and Lauren Collins

With the beginning of the season underway, the Girls’ Varsity Basketball team looks to bounce back from a underachieving 2018-19, and seek revenge on all the teams that had beaten them last season. The new additions to the team- Maria Katsigridakis, Molly Joseph, Lauren Collins- look to be that little push they needed, mixed with the returners, to bring them over the edge and seek that City Championship Plaque. The team will be competing in the Chicago Public Red North/West Conference, as well as, playing in the Lyons Township Thanksgiving Tournament. They have multiple hard clashes through out the season including: December 10, Payton, January 14, Taft, January 16, Whintey Young, and January 21, Jones. The team is off to a strong start, and look to continue their winning ways, with the Lane Tech community to back them. Come out to support the girls, as they have multiple home games throughout the season!
