The Girl's JV basketball team defeated Gower yesterday 41-21. The Lions jumped on Gower opening up a 12-4 first-quarter lead, the host school went into the half leading 17-13 with Jaya Claussen scoring 6pts and Collins Weaver chipping in with 4pts. Entering the third the Lions put the game away, Maddie Bauer scored 8pts and Collins Weaver chipped in again with 4pts, while the defense held Gower to a single bucket giving Lisle a commanding 33-15 lead. Lisle was led in scoring by Bauer with 13pts while the backcourt of Claussen and Weaver had 8pts a piece. Coming off the bench for the lions was Sam Buchelt with 6pts and Liliana Rocha 4pts. The Lions will host Burr Ridge tomorrow with a 4:15 tip-Go Lions!!
