JV VB Wins a Tight One
Yesterday, your JV Lady Lions traveled eastward to face the Westmont Panthers and made Magellan proud of their journey with a hard fought win in two sets. Outstanding all-around play in Set 1 was turned in by Jaya Claussen, Alaina Shroeder, Samantha Buchelt, Avery Pecak, Zoey Buchelt and Emily Bieniasz. Set 2 was also a very tight affair, as Lisle had to come from behind to win by the count of twenty five to twenty two. Set 2 had tremendous all-around performances turned in by Collins Weaver, Jennifer Duban, Lily Rocha, Summer Klein, and Rose Helderle.
This win moves the girls to two wins and no defeats as they prepare to play Butler on Tuesday.
