JV VB Rallies for the W!
The JV Lions hit the road yesterday to Oak Brook to sightsee and take on the Butler Vikings. Early on, it looked like the travel would take its toll on the Lions from Lisle, but long service runs by Emily Bieniasz and Lily Rocha propelled the Lions to a comeback Set 1 victory of twenty five to twenty three. Other outstanding efforts were turned in by Rose Helderle, Avery Pecak, and Samantha Buchelt. In Set 2, Lisle had tremendous all-around performances from Summer Klein, Olivia Pecak, Elliott Parks, Norah Roth, and Hailey Sullivan, which led to a twenty five to nineteen victory. This win moves the girls’ record to three wins and one defeat as they prepare to host one of many Warriors in the SDEAA, with this group originating in Lemont, called Old Quarry.
