GIRLS Basketball | 6th
The purpose of our sixth grade team is to introduce and reinforce basketball fundamentals.
The season for Girls’ Basketball begins in early September and ends in mid-December. Tryouts normally begin in late August/early September. We have 6th Grade A and B teams to help students get court time. The A team is our tournament team.
Practices are normally every day after school at Mokena Intermediate School and games are normally on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some Saturday practices, games and Tournaments. 6th Grade Girls’ Basketball is NOT an IESA sport. We participate in non-conference and conference games and an end of the year Des Plaines Valley Conference Tournament.
All home games are played in the MJHS East Gym at 4:00 PM unless otherwise noted. Please check game schedules as they may change without notice.
