The game moved to the challenges of the grass field at marist, but nothing could stop the tbolt drive as they powered home a 2 nil victory away from home. After many minutes of acclimation to the rough terrain, Natalie Orbon opened the scoring with a powerful right foot on the spin. The ball came in to Nawal Kaleel as she controlled and set herself just outside the penalty area. Her shot was deflected and found Orbon with her back to goal. A fake, a turn, and a finish made it 1 nil.
Orbon doubled the lead in the second half after great combination play between Maxine Arvanetes and Emily Nieto on the far wing led to a cross. The ball deflected out, but Arvanetes found Nieto again on the sideline for another cross. Nieto ripped a low burner into the box as Orbon sprinted through. Her flick on the ball floated up over the keeper and into the far side netting for a 2 nil lead.
The Ladies of Marist battled hard, but Sydney Procajlo was there to make the saves and clear the passes in net for the tbolts. Combined with Lucia Cannonito in goal from the first half, the bolts earned another shutout victory!!
