EAWR Invitational a huge success
The EAWR track teams had and strong showing at our Invitational Saturday. We won many medals throughout a long day. The girls won medals in the 4x800 relay, 3200 meter and 100, 200. Medal winners Jessica Brown got 4th and 5th in the 1 and 200. Sabrina Fulkerson won 2 medals 4x8 and 3200. Addison Denton won 2 medals 4x8 and 3200. Mary Nyguen and Jaden Downs won 4x8 medals. They finished 9th of 14 schools super job girls.
The boys team finished 4th place of 13 schools with a very strong team effort. We won medals in the Discus Jamari Nunn 5th, Bryce Hyde shot put 3rd, Travis Skinner 4x200, Kirk Lane 4x200, Logan Wilcutt 4x200, Evan Baker 4x800, Fletcher Jones 4x800, 4x200, 4x400, Noah Mason 4x800, 800, 4x400, Devon Green 200, 400, 4x400, Aidan Loeffelman 4x800, 800, 1600, 4x400. Devan got a big PR in the 400 2nd place 52.52. Jackson Mason PR 400 meters. Aidan PR 800. Bryce Shot. Jamari Discus. All 4relays teams ran their fastest times of the season. Cayden Stone was a giant help today not only running In then4x100 assisting coach Tyler. All in all a fantastic day for track and field. I am very proud of both teams today and looking forward to the rest of the season. We host our EAWR Relays next Thursday.
