Now taking GKHS Hall of Fame Nominations

The GKHS Hall of Fame Committee is currently taking nominations for the 2023 Induction class. ONLINE NOMINATIONS WILL BE TAKEN UNTIL FRIDAY, APRIL 7th, 2023.

Click on the following link to find a listing of all current individuals and teams who have already been inducted into the Genoa-Kingston High School Hall of Fame. Information regarding the directions, timeline and online registration link to the nomination process can also be found here. Anyone can nominate a particular individual and/or team for submission to the GKHS HOF Committee.

Inductees will be announced and introduced prior to the warmups of the first home Varsity Football game of the season and are then honored during a dinner and banquet the following evening in the GKHS Commons. The HOF game is scheduled for Friday, September 8th, 2023 vs Oregon with the Dinner and Banquet on Saturday, September 9th at 6:00pm.

The purpose of the Hall of Fame for Genoa-Kingston High School is to honor and recognize GK students, staff members, organizations, and supporters who have demonstrated excellence and contributions to their community. The award could also be given to others who have given meritorious service to Genoa-Kingston High School.

Committee members review all nominations during the Spring months and announce the selected candidates for induction in April or May for the following Fall semester.  Any questions pertaining to the nomination process should be directed to current GKHS Athletic Director, Philip Jerbi via email at pjerbi@gkschools.org.
