Lady Bulldogs finish 3rd at State
The 8th grade Lady Bulldogs volleyball team had a successful day at State today! The ladies opened up tourney play with an exciting come from behind win vs. Carterville 2-1. In the semi-final the ladies came out on the losing end losing in two sets putting them in the 3rd place game vs. conference foe O'Fallon Fulton. The ladies came out and lost the first set to Fulton but came from behind and won an exciting second set leaving the decisive set to decide third place. The ladies came out strong and powered through the third set and won going away to win 3rd place. The 3rd place is their best finish since 2015 when they also finished in third place. The ladies finish with an 18-5 record. Great season ladies!
