EAWR Boys Track and Field
Twenty schools and the girls were CHAMPIONS and the boys 8th overall; excellent efforts for the first outdoor track and field meet. It has been two weeks since the Griffins were supposed to open up outdoors, but weather dictated that delay, and consider the "rust knocked off!" Outdoor school records in: Lincoln Duffy (shot put) 30' 5.75".
The boys were meet champions in the 4 x 800m (8:58.4) Tyler Ahring, Liam Schmidt, Liam Boeving, Will Rakers. Runners-up in 800m Ahring (2:13) and Schmidt 1600m (5:05.2). Bronze medals to: Boeving 1600m (5:06), and the 4 x 400m Relay of Ahring, Levi Huber, Colin Moore and Rakers in 3:52. 4th were Huber 11:20 in the 3200m. Top 8 scorers were: Will Rakers 400m (8th), and the 4 x 100m Relay team of Chris Marchetti, Gus Range, Owen Weissert, and Duffy (8th).
