Interestest in joining the Nazareth Cheer Team? Mark your calendars! Come join us for our Open Gyms on March 15 and March 22 from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Walsh Gym to work on skills and meet members of the 2022-2023 team. There will be two Tryout Clinics on April 3 and April 4 from 5:30pm-7:30pm in Walsh gym. You will learn choreography, a cheer, and skill build. Official Tryouts will be held on April 5 from 5:30pm-8:00pm in Walsh gym. Student-Athletes will perform tryout material and results will be posted later on the evening of tryouts. This is a closed door tryout and only student-athletes performing will be allowed in the gym.
Tryouts are open to all grades 9-12. We ask that all student-athletes wear all black shorts, an all black top, and cheer/gym shoes. Hair should be tied up into a high pony. No jewelry or long false nails allowed. Bow is optional.
There will be a Parent/Athlete meeting on March 29, 2023 at 6:00pm in the Media Center. Information and details regarding the school season will be provided.
Pom and Dance Team Tryouts for 2023-2024 School Year
Come join the Pom & Dance Team! Tryout clinic is Monday, April 24 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Rooney Gym. Student-athletes will get to practice skills as well as learn the tryout routine. Official tryouts will be Tuesday, April 25 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Rooney Gym. Student-athletes will perform in front of a panel of judges and results will be posted that night. Tryouts are open to all grade levels 9-12. Please wear all black shorts and top and jazz shoes.
