Track and Field | JH
Welcome to the 2023 Track & Field Season! Our first practice will be on March 7
Practices will be held before school at LTHS East Campus and after school at OP this year. Please see the schedule for dates and times.
In addition to running shorts and t-shirts for practices, athletes should pack extra clothing (warm-up pants, sweatshirts, gloves, hats, etc.) in case of cold or inclement weather. We will be running outside in all types of weather. Athletes should also bring water to practice.
Team news and communication will be provided through Google Classroom and Remind. Text the class code to 81010.
Athletes must purchase a uniform top to wear with their Oak Prairie P.E. shorts for meets.
Athletes are expected to attend all scheduled practices. If a conflict should arise, please let us know in advance. We will work with other sports, activities, and engagements. We want all athletes to be successful and attending practice is a prominent part of the success of each athlete and the team. Three unexcused absences from practice will result in no longer being able to participate on the team.
We are limited to the number of runners in events at meets, so we cannot bring every athlete to all the meets. Athletes will be notified in a timely manner in regard to participation.
