Student Council members provide an effective voice in student affairs. They are responsible for addressing ideas, concerns and solutions for school improvement; communicating the ideas and needs of the student body to the faculty, administration, and the Parent Teacher Student Organization; and planning and organizing many of the school social and service events, i.e., Homecoming, blood drives, scholarship opportunities. Student Council members are also actively involved in community service activities. Student Council members with the desire to exercise their leadership skills beyond the PHS-CC environment are eligible to be involved in Student Council at the district, state, and national levels.  All new and returning members are welcome.
