Boys Soccer

Rockford Lutheran Soccer Families,
It is with deep regret to inform you of Crusader Nation that we won't be having a boys soccer season this year. We just have not had the numbers arrive for practices to justify being able to have a team this season. Even with the regular pattern of borrowing athletes from the other sports, we wouldn't amass a full 11 players to field a team.
 
That being said, what is most important is to keep these players interest in the sport growing and one way to do that is to help with the younger classes in their pursuit of playing Soccer. Coach Horn and I are extending an invitation for any of the Boys HS Soccer players, if they would like to help with Junior High Soccer (coaching and practices), or RLA Soccer (coaching or refereeing), it would be greatly appreciated - but also a good way for them to put their Service hours in for the year.  Anyone interested may reach out to Coach Horn or myself or arrive for JH practice tomorrow at 3:30pm.
 
Again, this decision did not come easy, and we can't apologize enough for it, and with the 2023 season a full year away - the believe is that we will have an incoming contingent to ensure a full squad and get over that hump of bringing home a Regional Championship Trophy!

PARENT MEETING

TO ALL PARENTS OF A ROCKFORD LUTHERAN CRUSADER ATHLETE:

 

ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 17, 2022 THERE WILL BE A MANDATED PARENT MEETING TO KICK OFF THE FALL SEASON.  WE WILL HAVE THE PARENT MEETING WITH JUNIOR HIGH PARENTS FOLLOWING TROUTS AT 5:30PM IN THE JUNIOR HIGH GYM.  FOLLOWING THE JUNIOR HIGH MEETING, WE WILL HAVE A MEETING WITH THE HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS AT 6:30PM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM.  PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO ATTEND.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE JUNIOR HIGH GYMNASIUM, WHILE CO-ED SOCCER WILL HAVE THEIR TRYOUTS AT ALPINE MEADOWS PARK, WHICH IS RIGHT BEHIND THE SCHOOL.  ALL STUDENT-ATHLETES ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER ON 8TO18, HAVE A PHYSICAL AND THEIR ATHLETIC FEE OF $135.00 WHICH IS TO BE PAID IN THE MAIN / ATHLETIC OFFICE.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME.

GIRLS SOCCER | Varsity

2012- Congratulations to Varsity on winning their 8th consecutive Big Northern West Division Title.  Congratulations on a hard fought Sectional loss to Elgin St. Edwards 1-3.  Congratulations to JV on clinching their 9th consecutive Big Northern West Division Title.

2011 - Rockford Lutheran School would like to congratulate the girl's soccer team for their win of the Big Northern Conference Division Title! Their 2-1 win over Stillman Valley gave them the Big Northern West title for the 7th consecutive year. The JV girls tied Stillman 0-0 and clinched the 8th consecutive West Division title.
