Washington will be offering FREE SUMMER CAMPS during the summer of 2024.  The camps are for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  You can register for as many camps as you like.

  • Girls Basketball Camp– 9:00 to 11:00 AM
  • Boys Basketball Camp– 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

 

Week of June 10 – June 14 (Monday – Friday)

 

  • Girls Volleyball Camp – 8:00 to 10:00 AM
  • Boys Volleyball Camp – 10:00 to 12:00 PM

 

Week of June 17 – June 21 (Monday – Friday)

 

  • Cheer Camp - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Poms Camp – 12:00 to 2:00 PM

Congratulations to the Washington Track team on a very successful first meet! The Spring track season is of to one heck of a fantastic start. Boys and girls teams had a solid performance with many athletes placing and scoring in their events. To kick off the celebration, 6th grade Izzy Moneze placed 2nd in the 200 M Dash with a time of 32.47 sec and Kalyn Thompson 3rd with a time of 33.52 seconds. Teresa Kalumba was wicked fast in the 8th grade girls 100 M dash for a second place finish with a time of 13.70. For 7th grade boys discus, Jayden Chavez placed 1st with a throw of 96 feet 3 inches and he also placed 1st in shotput with a throw of 28 feet 11 inches. In 8th grade boys discus, Lucas Jasin placed 2nd with a throw of 74 feet 3 inches and in shotput placed 2nd with a throw of 29 feet 10 inches. Congratulations to Gabriel Aleshire on two 2nd place finishes in the boys 200 M Dash and the 110 M Hurdles. Special shout out to Kenneth Nwalie 1st place and Antourion Floyd 2nd place in the boys 100 M Dash. The boys 4X100 M Relay team consisting of Floyd, Lott, Flores and Nwalie crushed the Wredling relay team with a blazing fast 1st place finish. 7th grade, Julian Flores dominated the 400 M dash with a first place finish. Finally, Jahir Hernandez placed third with a super-fast mile time of 6:04. Way to go Generals!
