Competitive Cheerleading | Varsity
Wilmington Competitive Cheer team competes in the IHSA competitive cheer season. The team's mission is to represent Wilmington with athleticism and pride. It is our goal to maintain a high standard of excellence in the competitive arena while being positive role models for our school and community. Our team has qualified for ICCA championships 15 years in a row, earning 1st place in 2019. The Wildcats have advanced to IHSA state series 12 years in a row and 12 out of 15 years. The Wildcats were 2016 IHSA Small Division State Champions and are 2019 IHSA Small Division State Champions and 2021 IHSA Small Division State Runner-Up.
