The Rock Island High School Boys tennis Match against Alleman on 4/16 has been cancelled due to weather.  It has been rescheduled for 4/30.

The Rock Island High School Girls Vrsity/JV Softbsall games at Quincy on 4/16 has been rescheduled to 5/16 due to the weather.

Girls Track Wins Rock Island A-B-C Invitational

The Girls Varsity Track Team won its own Rock Island A-B-C Invitational Track Meet by scoring 188.5 points. The Rocks easlily outdistanced second place Geneseo who finished with 143 points.

WENDLAND-MORAN MEMORIAL
Join us for a day of fun and golf at Highland Springs! This four-
person “preferred ball” is open to everyone and will combine a
great golf experience and a post-tournament dinner. It will also
present an opportunity to meet and support members of the Rock
Island Athletic Department including many Rocky varsity head
coaches. Shotgun Start at 1:00pm!

are aided by The Rock Island/Milan Booster Club AND mainly to get out and have some fun!
HOW MUCH: $80 per person which includes golf, cart, dinner catered by HyVee with free beer & pop.

LEFTY & GARY

Paul “Lefty” Wendland and Gary Moran are two names written into the annals of Rock Island High School and Rock Island
athletics history. Both men served not only as members of the Booster Club Board of Directors for many years, but also
volunteered and worked on numerous committees, organizations, boards and civic groups dedicated to the children of
Rock Island and Milan. We lost Lefty Dec. 3, 2004 and Gary May 20, 2006. It is in their honor and memory that the Rock Island/
Milan Booster Club dedicates this annual fundraising golf outing.
