Join us for a day of fun and golf at Highland Springs! This four-
person “preferred ball” is open to everyone and will combine a
great golf experience and a post-tournament dinner. It will also
present an opportunity to meet and support members of the Rock
Island Athletic Department including many Rocky varsity head
coaches. Shotgun Start at 1:00pm!

WHERE: Highland Springs Golf Course, Rock Island
WHY: Support students and organizations affiliated with the Rock Island/Milan School District which
are aided by The Rock Island/Milan Booster Club AND mainly to get out and have some fun!
HOW MUCH: $80 per person which includes golf, cart, dinner catered by HyVee with free beer & pop.

Pass Holders pay only $60.

SPONSOR: Program, Hole, Driving Range, Putting Greens, Hole Flags, and Golf Cart Sponsorships are available
PRIZES: 2 Flights, Cash Prizes* for 1 st & 2 nd in each flight; plus, prizes for longest drive, closest to pin, longest
putt, etc. *Prize amounts will be determined based on entries, mulligan, and 50/50 sales..

LEFTY & GARY

Paul “Lefty” Wendland and Gary Moran are two names written into the annals of Rock Island High School and Rock Island
athletics history. Both men served not only as members of the Booster Club Board of Directors for many years, but also
volunteered and worked on numerous committees, organizations, boards and civic groups dedicated to the children of
Rock Island and Milan. We lost Lefty Dec. 3, 2004 and Gary May 20, 2006. It is in their honor and memory that the Rock Island/
Milan Booster Club dedicates this annual fundraising golf outing.
